The Swiss Chalets sleep up to four people, with a queen bed in the main bedroom and a single/trundle bed in the second bedroom.

Make yourself at home in a fully equipped kitchen with a dining and lounge area to relax in. Each with their own bathroom and shower, complimentary towels and linens are provided.

We have a select number of pet friendly chalets available, should you require one of these please contact the office directly. There is an additional $25.00 fee per pet.

Indulge in the cooler weather from May until November with our slow combustion wood fireplaces. Set in the heart of your chalets for those cold cosy nights in. You will find a complimentary bucket of wood ready for you on arrival.

Reservation Information

Chalet bookings can be secured online:

  • Prices are subject to availability and fluctuations may occur. The day’s best available rate will be offered at time of booking. Once you have made a reservation, you have agreed to and are locked into the day’s best available rate and our Terms & Conditions.
  • Your tariff is confirmed for the number of guests as per your reservation. Additional charges may apply for extra guests.  If you exceed the maximum number of people available for the style of accommodation, including infants, children and adults, your booking will be forfeited on arrival.
  • Minimum nights stays apply at all times of year. Once a booking is made, bookings can not be reduced below the minimum night stay applicable at the time of booking. We do not apply refunds for early departures.

Additional Guests:

There is an additional guest charge of $10.00 per person for Camping and $15.00 for Chalets. This is payable on arrival. Please be sure to read our Terms & Conditons  before booking.

Linen is included in the daily rate. Extra linen requested during your stay will be charged at $5 per item.

 Please bring your own beach towels.

 Porta cots and highchairs

We have a limited number of highchairs and porta cots available for guests free of charge. Please bring your own cot linen.

Request to be made at the time of booking, subject to availability.

Extra Cleaning Service

Chalets are only serviced for booking longer than 7 days. A $50 extra service fee will be charged if you request a service.

Caravan / Camping Site

Enquiries and bookings must be made by phone or email so site size options can be discussed. Our sites can only accommodate caravans 25ft/7.6M and under. 


Pets are welcomed at Sandy Bay Holiday Park. Please discuss bringing your pet at the time of booking. All pets allowed are at the manager’s discretion. Block out periods and rules apply- please visit the pet policy link for more information.

Bar Fridge Hire

Available for hire $8.00 per day for use in camp sites.

Conditions of Bond

A credit card pre-authorisation is required at check-in. This authorisation will be held until 14 days after you have departed.

If you cannot produce a credit card, a $200 cash bond will be acceptable. Slight delays may occur on departure whilst your chalet is inspected.

In the event of damage, loss or if excessive cleaning is required, the property reserves the right to charge you a cleaning fee without prior notice. Pictures will be provided on request.

To ensure the full recovery of your bond, the accommodation is to be left in a reasonable and tidy condition as follows:

  • Dishes, crockery and cutlery to be washed, dried and put away – Oven and grill to be left clean
  • Fridge to be wiped out
  • Used beds to be left unmade
  • Floors to be swept clean of rubbish and sand
  • No stains on carpet or couches
  • No dirty hand/feet marks on windows and walls
  • Any breakages to be reported to the office.

If you would like us to provide an extra cleaning service and fresh linen for stays less than 7 days in duration, please arrange this prior to your arrival with the office for an additional cleaning fee of $50 and Linen $5 per item.

We will recover monies from your bond in the event of the following:

  • Please choose your bed carefully: When more beds/bed linen is used than the booking allows, guests will be charged an extra $20 per queen/double or single bed/bunk due to extra cleaning costs of doona covers and mattress protectors.
  • A fumigation fee of $100 will be charged if Smoking is evident inside chalets, in and around doorways and windows
  • Additional cleaning is required when the chalet is not left in a reasonable tidy state as mentioned above
  • Any lost or broken keys will incur a $15 fee
  • Damages to the accommodation.

Pet Policy

Sandy Bay Holiday Park welcome you and your furry friend! We love animals as much as you, but for the comfort of everyone we kindly ask you to observe the following rules and regulations:

  • Please discuss bringing your pet at the time of making your booking.
  • Pets are allowed at the managers discretion.
  • No more than one pet per booking is allowed.
  • Pets are NOT permitted anywhere in the park during Peak Season, Easter, Long Weekends and School holidays
  • Pets are allowed in chalets outside the above period. A $25 PET fee per booking applies. 
  • In chalets pets are NOT allowed on sofas, beds or in the carpeted areas. If pet hair is found on any of the beds and couches this will automatically incur the loss of your $50.00 bond. Please bring your own pet bedding and accessories.
  • Pets are NOT permitted in the amenities block, at the children’s playground or in the BBQ areas.
  • Pets must be kept on a leash at all times, Sandy Bay has lots of natural wildlife (ducks, rabbits, possums and lizards) please respect their right to be here and keep your pet leashed for the mutual enjoyment of all.
  • As the owner of the pet, you are responsible for cleaning up after your pet which also includes toilet duties!
  • No barking or yapping allowed at any time of day and especially at night. .
  • Pets are not to be left unattended at any time day or night.
  • Any pet-related accessories such as animal bedding, should not be washed or cleaned within the park.

Any breach of the above may result in you being asked to leave the park immediately.

At Sandy Bay Holiday Park, we are very lucky that there is a pet friendly beach right outside our door with a big off leash area. Please keep local laws in mind.

Terms & Conditions


Guests under the age of 18 MUST be accompanied by an adult. ID maybe required upon check-in.


A deposit is required for all bookings.

Peak Season bookings require a 50% deposit of the total accommodation cost.

All other bookings require 1 night deposit.


  • Cancellations made BEFORE 28 days prior to arrival will incur a $25 cancellation fee.
  • Cancellations made with less than 28 days of arrival will incur the loss of 50% of deposit paid


  • If an alteration occurs while staying with us, no refund will be given. 
  • For your own peace of mind it is recommended that clients consider taking out their own travel insurance.


  • Christmas Holidays – 7-night stay, Easter – 4-night stay
  • January School Holidays – 5  nights stay
  • All Long weekends – 3-night stay
  • All weekends – 2 nights stay

Caravan sites vary in size. Tent sites are located in a level park setting. All sites are powered. There is also an undercover BBQ area with free gas BBQ, seating (with lighting), hot water, sink & playground. The park laundry has coin-operated washing machines and a dryer.

Aged Pensioners – 10% Discount with a minimum booking of 1 week. Discounts are not available during School Holidays and long weekends. Accommodation preferences are not guaranteed until check-in.

The safety and well-being of our guests and employees are the highest priority as COVID-19 continues to pose a health risk across the globe. We assure you that we are taking hygiene seriously. You can be confident that our park is being cleaned to the highest of standards, and that our staff are employing heightened levels of sanitation. Our management and staff are focused on making everyone’s stay at our park as enjoyable as possible and are working hard to strike the right balance between providing the freedom to enjoy your stay and the requirements of the current restrictions.

The customer shall comply with all Government (Federal and State) COVID-19 vaccination or testing requirements for entry into Western Australia or to access Sandy Bay Holiday Park’s premises.

Where the customer cancels due to travel restrictions other than vaccination or testing requirements, the customer will be contacted and offered a refund or credit note (to be used within 12 months from cancellation), where such an offer is at the absolute discretion of the operator.

Sandy Bay Holiday Park reserves the right to withhold some monies to cover administrative expenses and other losses, dependent on when notice of cancellation is given by the customer.
