If you are planning on bringing your furry friend to avoid disappointment please make your booking via phone ( 08-9752 2003) to ensure we are able to allocate a pet friendly chalet or site.
We love animals as much as you, but for the comfort of everyone we kindly ask that you observe the following rules and regulations.
Pet Policy
– Pets are allowed at the Managers discretion.
– Pets are NOT permitted anywhere in the park during school holiday periods.
– Our camping pet fee is $15.00 per dog. Max 2 dogs per site if small, 1 if large. Please note, a maximum of 4 dogs at any one time over the whole camping section.
– We have 6 pet friendly chalets. If the chalets are booked out we do not allow pets in any of our other accommodation A $25.00 pet fee applies for provision of pet covers and additional chalet cleaning.
– In chalets, pets are NOT allowed on sofas, beds or in the carpeted areas. Please bring your own pet bedding and accessories.
– Pets are NOT permitted in the amenities block, at the children’s playground or in the BBQ areas.
– Pets must be kept on a leash at all times while in the park grounds. Sandy Bay has a lot of natural wildlife (ducks, birds, possums and lizards). Please respect their right to be here, and keep your pet leashed for the mutual enjoyment of all.
– As the owner of the pet, you are responsible for cleaning up after your pet which also includes toilet duties!
– No excessive barking allowed at any time of day or night.
– Pets are not to be left unattended at any time of day or night.
– Any pet-related accessories such as animal bedding, must not be washed or cleaned within the park.
At Sandy Bay Holiday Park, we are very lucky that there is a pet friendly beach right outside our door with a large off leash area. Please adhere to local by-laws and respect other beach users and walkers. Thank you for your co-operation, we wish you and your furry friend a great stay!
